The Client:
Security Gate was a start-up company based out of Houston, Texas. In my role as Digital Marketing Manager, I lead the brand and website redesign for the company.
The Challenge:
The existing brand did not communicate an organization with specific expertise or long-term reliability, both of which are important qualities for a company in the cybersecurity industry.
To meet their aggressive growth goals, SecurityGate meeded a polished brand that would build trust and appeal to their diverse audience of clients around the globe.
The Result:
The new brand and website directly lead to an increase in international clients and sales inquiries. This was achieved by auditing the existing brand and doubling-down on elements that worked.
I designed all the visual elements around the platform and created screenshots that could quickly show how the product solved common issues faced by our audience.
To prove our industry expertise, I ensured that all copy was accurate while also ensuring that we did not overly rely on jargon. It was certainly a challenge to balance technical accuracy with simplicity, but it was important to appeal to both our technical and non-technical audiences.
We also had the added challenge of selling a product that did not exist before we did. So while building the website, I integrated a search strategy that would help our audience find our product as they conducted research online, even if they weren’t familiar with our name.
Below is an example of a page I built with the graphics, copy, and design built by me:
