Launching an Online Course for a Non-Profit

1–2 minutes

The Client:

This 14 year old non-profit organization is focused on religious education. Though the organization has taught courses for over a decade, they aren’t widely known and they struggled to get their programs in front of the right people.

The Challenge:

The client approached us with ambitious growth goals. They invested resources into filming an online version of their most popular course but they did not have the technical expertise to promote or launch the course.

How we Helped

Using an learning management system (LMS), we built a sleek, professional, website to host their online course and any future courses they may create.

We crafted the messaging to appeal to their target demographic of educated young adults by positioning the class as a “free college-level course”.

To build hype around the release of the online class, we threw a watch party of the first session at the local theater. We maintained interest through organizing live Q&A sessions with the instructor and heavily promoted the course on social media.

Within months, the course now has over 100 students! We successfully helped this non-profit reach more people with their programs than they ever had before.
